If you have, what are thoughts on it in terms of playability, sound, build quality? More specifically, has anyone here played or own(ed) an Eastman AC422, and can comment on or leave a link to the tone? So, because of that, I'm appealing, once again, to Reddit for some answers. However, I can't seem to find any video reviews or genuinely (not with a webcam) recorded soundclips of the AC422. On the other hand, there are those who simply state that they're 'meh' and go on to point out more expensive guitars from other companies that are much better sounding and playing than some wooden box from the Pac-Rim (audacious bigots 9_9). One on hand, we have people who have played them and consider them to be superb value for money, offering great tone, playability, and craftsmanship for not a lot of greenbacks. I looked around on forums and it's been, well, bewilderingly flip-floppy.

Up until 2011 serial numbers were assigned when the instrument left our shop.
I've been doing some research since I want to upgrade to an all-solid GA-style (or similar) guitar, and I'm in two minds about this. I found this on the FAQ at the Eastman website.
